Story

During these strange times charities are struggling and I have been lucky enough (I think) to gain a last minute place in the 40th London Marathon. This is an opportunity to give something back and make those lock down runs mean a little more.

Over the years I have had the privilege to work with, support, know, laugh with and treat many brave people with Bowel Cancer and this is just a little something to help support them through the amazing and important work Bowel Cancer UK continues to do regardless of the current pandemic and the changes this has brought.

As our alternative to the London Marathon, Emily, Rosie, Tilly and I will be completing 26.2 miles from the Trout public house in Lechlade, along the Thames Path to the Trout public house in Oxford.

Any support you can give will help make those miles a little easier.

Anything you can donate will go to Bowel Cancer UK who are  the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. They fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.

The goal............ to stop people dying of bowel cancer.
